World AIDS Day

Today, December 1, is World AIDS Day. In 2000, world leaders committed to stop the spread of AIDS and begin to reverse it by 2015, yet the disease continues to spread in every part of the world.

International Child Care is fighting AIDS in Haiti through a comprehensive program that includes anti-retroviral drug treatment for children and adults, a micro-enterprise loan program for women living with HIV/AIDS, and counseling on prevention through the reproductive health program.
